SD Collection: SaphyRyan - Egyptian Dreaming

Gold Amber for dreaming of Egypt, N:Sapphire for being in an Egyptian Souk, Egyptian Sandalwood washing upon the sands of the Alexandrian Sea, Lavender essence to billow the sky with peace, N:Indigo to sweeten the Earth, White Honey from an Egyptian Bee, Limestone Amber to have the prowess to build Pyramids, a drop of patchouli for strength and a drop of labdanum for a fire in the soul - blended with Gold and Crystal NAlloy Shimmer to caress the skin with a sparkle of an Egyptian Sun upon the Egyptian Sahara.

Bottle: Sweet candied Lavendar

Wet: The lovely Gold Amber starts to come out along with some Egyptian Sandalwood. The Lavendar is still here too, giving it a slightly herbal tang. I think I'm getting a bit of the Limestone Amber too. In a nutshell, Lavendar with amber, very light and beautiful.

Dry: This has gone baby powdery on me. It's not overwhelming, I can still get the Lavendar. It's soft and relaxing, I could definitely see this inspiring good dreams. The longer I have it on, the more it seems to morph. There's still baby powder and Lavendar, but the other elements seem to re-strengthen and peek their heads back out. This is very complex!....a few minutes later and there's the Amber again, and the sweetness. Not sure if that is the Indigo or the Honey. And I swear N:Sapphire is peeking out now too....I can't wait to see how this ages. I think this one is full of surprises!

ETA: Ok, this has been on for a little over an hour and that baby powder smell is allll gone. Which is good news to me ... This scent has come full cirlcle to beautiful sweet lavendar mixed with beautiful amber. This really is great!

This is just the prettiest scent, and I love that some of my clothes smell like it now

I know, I know, this is all wrong, but I get Lavender, lemongrass and lime out of this! Probably the Limestone Amber is the source of the bubbly, citrusy scent. Yummy sweet, though I wouldn't have put my finger on Honey, and rosey from the N: Indigo.

At drydown, lovely Sandalwood, which is great because with the release of N: Santalum, I've been on a serious Sandalwood kick lately.

Starts off sweet and mellow and nice and gets spicier at dry-down – yay! This is a goodly scent!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet!! Must be because I pass out every time I wear it ; -)

This blend starts magically balanced with a myriad of soft, sweet, deep notes like resins and musks and a hint of woods, all counterpoints to a lovely herbal lavender note that calms and lulls me to sleep.

Over time, the lavender drifts and fades, and the gorgeous harmony of peaceful, grounded, royal notes is sweetly soothing. The amber and musk notes amp the most on me, reminding me of Eternal Egypt.

A lovely scent that lives up to its beautiful description. It has the power to simultaneously relax and inspire, to soothe while breathing life into the day to come. SaphyRyan said that he created this scent for all of us, so many thanks to SR and RA for this glorious creation!!

This scent snuck up and surprised me... It was my go-to scent sleep scent when I was going to bed, then as the month came along and wore me down, I noticed it became my go-to scent period. A soft and fuzzy lavender, not at all sharp or medicinal or overly herby. I think the combination of Sapphire and sandalwood give this scent its dreamy quality. It only gets better as it dries down, it becomes a little smooth sandalwood and sapphire with that white patch whispering underneat it all. Lovelovelove

Thankyou everyone for your nice comments on my blend with RA. It has taken me a while to figure out what to say. First, I am in love with this oil. Second, this really puts me at peace with myself and it does allow me to drift off dreaming of Egypt. If I were a pharaoh I would wear this during the spring nights and during the warm summer nights. I would remove my thoughts of being a pharaoh and after every has gone to bed I imagine myself walking the palace alone barefoot inhaling this scent that drifts up to me from my wrists. I would find myself in a place in the kingdom where I could sit and look upward to the ceiling-less room at the moon and hope that everything outside the kingdom was at the same peace as I am. Lavender and amber and sapphire and sandalwood all harmonize me. Every single note blends me from the fullness of the moon into the beginning of the day as the sun proclaims day and the palace begins to wake. Thankyou RA for working on this oil and allowing me the privilege to become a Supreme Deity and creating such a great scent with your boundless knowledge of scent and understand what the maker really wanted. Thankyou. This oil has aged and has only gotten better. The labdanum, indigo and amber have deepened the journey of dreams.
