Offering Oil: Purple Rose of Cairo

Let me start this off by saying I am not a lover of rose perfume. Rose, if it's one of the predominant notes in a blend, is quite often a deal-breaker for me. However, for some reason (maybe the incense? Maybe because it's not red rose?), Purple Rose of Cairo is one of the few strongly rose perfumes that I like and wear. So I was happy when I got a chance to try the offering oil, and it doesn't disappoint. If you like the perfume, it has the same beautiful rose/incense scent, and the same very strong throw (a little goes a long way, which is a good thing ). Using it makes your whole house smell like freshly cut, in bloom roses with a hint of meditative incense weaving through the scent.

I've been trying to figure out how to use my offering oils as more than just "making my house smell good." For me, Purple Rose of Cairo is a blessing to nature, to relaxing and enjoying the beauty around you -- definitely to taking time to stop and smell the proverbial roses.

I got a sample of this from agameofthree...hope she is enjoying her vacation...waves...anyway, I liked this blend a lot. It is more of a natural rose and incense scent, than smoky fake rose scent...but of course, only the finest for a NA blend. I like to watch the oils shimmer, but I don't use my burner enough to justify getting a bottle, but it does make the whole place smell very good!
